This year going to Belgium, France and Netherlands I was able to focus on my images. Really excited to take a look at them... But in the mean time I wanted to share with you some things that most don't have a chance to see. For the last couple of years I've been focused on history.. and Europe is overwhelmed with it.. So here are some images from the beaches of Normandy... Start from the looks of it to the interior and to the outside.. I watched horses race on the beach in their carriage.. that is the aftermath... Hard to believe so many men lost their lives here.. So humbling...

Well, this was going to be a surprise but I decided not to wait.. Only due to the emotional aspects of it.. Sooo...

Here is my new book cover for Allegiance: Our Heroes Not Forgotten... Also the tentative release date would be Nov 2018 as that will mare the 100 year anniversary of the ending of the war...

WWII cover will be coming soon.. :-)

I've been really busy getting work done her in Belgium.. I'm heading to Netherlands tomorrow for a few days and then back to Belgium... Then I have to prep for my lectures.. It's been amazing as there has been a lot of press about it.. I will post a couple images but I'm so excited to start working on them at home.. :-) Here is an image from Omaha Beach in Normandy, France.. Humbling just standing on the beaches... There seems to be an emotional silence....

Wow this is amazing.. I will have to translate it... I will be lecturing about my Diminishing Generations books as well as my new project Allegiance: Our Heroes Not Forgotten.. now I'm getting nervous 😀

I love it!! Children enjoying asking our military soldiers questions..What respect they have for our men and women.. They separated into several groups to be almost one on one.. :-)

This is amazing.. Last year I had missed some events as I had to leave.. BUT I'm not missing them this year :-) It was amazing... I will have a full circle getting this information for the book :-) Love it..

Today while I was in Flanders Fields I came across the only headstone that had an engraving on the back.. I couldn't pass this up as it was on the back of one of the head stones.

More to come... yes it was in the heat of the day...

The city archive of Waregem receives the American Lady Jodi Champagne. This writer/photographer /historic made several projects and publications on the remembrance of American War victims.
That did not only led to very personal and emotional testimonies , but made her also realise even more that many men didn’t come back after the war.
They did not had the opportunity to tell their story. she wants to give these men a voice in co-operation with the adopters of the soldiers who rest in Waregem in her new project. :Allegiance our heroes not forgotten.
The American soldiers of WW1 and WW2, buried abroad are having a central place in this. Their life story, how they fought and died , is passing through from generation to generation by people who make sure that these men, who gave their life during the war, won’t be forgotten.
The lecture of Jodi Champagne is on Wednesday June 7 2017 at 19:30 in , soon to open, the visitors centre HIPPO.War on the racecourses. It’s also an unique opportunity to catch a glimp of the new visitors centre.

I was just sent images of a wonderful brand new built Center that is almost done in Belgium... Now I'm getting really nervous as I have a lecture to do on June 7th not only about my Diminishing Generations books but more so about my new project that involves the people of Belgium and Netherlands.. Special individuals that take such amazing care out our American soldiers that were killed during WWI and WWII. I can't thank them enough... Take a look it's beautiful...
