Full circle moment for me.

I actually started my career shooting with strobes — fashion sets, studio lighting, learning how to sculpt shadows and create drama on purpose.

Then photojournalism changed everything.
I fell in love with natural light… real moments… letting the world unfold instead of controlling it.
So I packed away my lights for years.

And now here I am, bringing them back out.

This set is a mix of both worlds:
first frames using two different strobe setups to shape and sculpt the light…
and the last images stripped back to pure natural light.

Control + intuition.
Created + found.

It feels like every version of me as a photographer living in the same gallery.
And honestly? I’ve never felt more at home.

You guys! I’m back! We haven’t posted photos in a minute! We have a backlog of some stunning sessions we have yet to share!
I’ll start with this beautiful fall family portrait session!
The Monterroso family had their first outdoor family portrait session with us and wow!! We had a blast! This was an extended family session with grandparents. But how sweet are just the three of them! ❤️😍

Just a heads up, we are scheduling spring family photos! And with the amount of rain that we are receiving this year, I anticipate some wildflowers in our hills!
