Introducing Jack Valentine... the world's worst "Fauxtographer". This is who/how he shows up when you hired that $100 photographer off of craigslist to shoot your daughter's wedding.

This is what I've been growing my beard and hair out for over the past year. (No, I didn't actually lose the plot.) I wanted to make fun of the industry with out cutting down a particular person, so I figured I'd create someone instead. This guy shows up late, is often drunk, has music and a price list on his website, wears sandals with overalls to weddings, only photographs models to try and seduce them, says overdone HDRs are art, undercuts his colleagues, uses a "photo credit card" to pay bills, etc... The idea is to "Not be a Jack"... the ass is implied.

I am ready to get rid of this beard and hair ASAP. Now I need help creating some images and concepts so I can finish the project before parting ways with it. Anybody want to collaborate?

“Simplify, then add lightness” - Collin Chapman

The gorgeous and purpose built series 1 Lotus Exige stateside.

This was a last minute shot, at sunset, with the last sliver of light on the service road to the Corkscrew. Lacking a handbrake, the owner was kind enough to position it, then duck out of the frame. I was running on ~2 hours of sleep and planning to make camp before dark, but you can't turn down beautiful conditions and a rare opportunity like this!

The series 1 Lotus Elise & Exige were the first cars developed without input from the late Collin Chapman. The genesis for a new era. I think he would approve of the direction the company is heading in; including the latest incarnation of the V6 Exige.

With round 6 of the Lotus Cup USA @ Sonoma and the West Coast Lotus Meet put on by the Golden Gate Lotus Club, I should have enough images to create a Lotus Cars calendar. The Lotus 7, Elite, and Europa will be challenging to track down, but the chase is half of the fun right? (:
