He’s here 💙
We are overjoyed to introduce Russell Patrick, born September 21st at 9:39 AM, right at home on the very last day of summer. 🌿
There were so many sacred moments leading up to his birth. In the quiet of prayer, I felt the Lord whisper “worth the wait.” Russell made us wait two extra weeks, and his arrival came through my hardest labor yet. But every moment was covered in God’s goodness, and I can already see how deeply those words ring true.
Something I’ll never forget is how his brothers got to be a part of his birth—not just watching, but standing beside me as my support system. Ethan held my hand, encouraging me to take deep breaths and reminding me that everything would be OK. I’m still in awe of that moment and so impressed by how strong and tender our little guys are.
For now, we’re soaking up these newborn days, overflowing with gratitude. To your steady presence and encouragement carried me through when I wanted to give up. You’ll always say it was all me, but I know it was us together, and I’ll forever be thankful.
And to my husband, in the moments when my faith felt so small, you let me stand on yours. This season has shown me in a whole new way how strong our marriage is, and how much we’ve been given.
Our hearts are full. Russell Patrick, you were worth the wait. 💙
