A mother/daughter graduation shoot is the new kind of photoshoot I didn’t know I needed. Karisma finished her master’s degree this year and her daughter is moving from elementary to middle school! I never stop feeling grateful when families trust me to help mark milestones. 🩵

They’re all here- and more. It was so difficult to cull this shoot down to 10 photos. (You know I had to put my favorite one last so you gotta scroll ALL THE WAY THRU!)

When I met Ryan we instantly clicked (likely because we’re both creatives i.e. nuts). When he asked me to do a photoshoot in his gorgeous Palm Springs home, I had zero hesitation.

We had ideas. We had outfits. We had locations. We had… a lil too much of everything, really. So the scope of this shoot got very wide. And it yielded such a gorgeous range of photographs. I love every one of these photos and there will be more posted, don’t you worry.

I had been wanting to do a styled bridal shoot for a long time; a shoot where I could choose the details: flowers, dress, styling, etc. I did just that for these images and I’m so proud of how they turned out. Thank you to ᴛᴀᴛᴜᴍ ᴅᴜᴋᴇꜱ for doing everything I asked and more. I really want to be a wedding photographer, and I REALLY want to make more images like these. Just sending it out into the universe 🫶🙌❤️‍🔥🌴📸

Choosing photos to post from this session was nearly impossible (which is why there will def be a pt.2). and had the incredible idea of shooting their save-the-date photos at the LA county fair and I was a giddy schoolgirl the entire time. The golden hour sun, the neon lights, the chaos; it was perfect. And they are perfect. I can’t wait to photograph their wedding next year 😍😍😍
