Hey, I’m Jess 👋 It feels like a minute since I’ve introduced myself, so here goes…

I’m a country music-loving, chicken-dreaming, mama of three who’s been married to my best friend for (almost) 14 years. I’m a photographer, a reader, a big fan of the outdoors - and I’m completely obsessed with capturing the beauty of motherhood and family life.

Though it’s not my own tradition—I’m Episcopal (or as some jokingly say, “diet Catholic”)—it was such a gift to photograph and witness this beautiful Catholic baptism. In the Episcopal Church, witnessing a baptism is a quiet invitation to renew our own vows, and I felt that deeply during this ceremony.

The priest spoke of the awe and wonder children are born with—how they embrace the stories of the Bible with open hearts, never questioning the way adults so often do. He reminded us that God is our most forgiving and loving parent, and that it’s our sacred responsibility to keep the light of faith shining in our children for as long as we can.

The love in the room was strong. It’s always such a privilege to witness a family surround a child in faith, hope, and love on such a meaningful day.
