The countdown to ONE YEAR of Moments That Matter by Bri continues 🤍

Today’s post is extra special because I’m sharing photos from my very first official session ever. 🥹📸

The people in these photos aren’t just clients—they’re some of my closest friends, Amanda & Chris. Long before I had a business, a portfolio, or much confidence behind the camera, they trusted me enough to let me capture their love story.

Looking back at these photos now is so surreal. What started as a simple session between friends became the beginning of a journey that would eventually grow into Moments That Matter by Bri.

Today I’m sharing one of the sweetest surprises I’ve had the honor of capturing — Rachel & Josh’s proposal along Chicago’s lakefront. 💍🌊

What many people don’t realize is that when you book a proposal with me, you’re not just hiring someone to show up and take photos. You’re getting someone who will help you plan the perfect moment from start to finish.

Josh and I spent weeks working together to make sure everything was exactly right. We talked through location options, found the perfect spot near the beach and lakefront, discussed timing and logistics, and coordinated every detail to make sure Rachel would be completely surprised. Seeing everything come together and watching her reaction was absolutely priceless. 🥹
