Amber + Brendon on 35mm film

In 2025, I picked up a film camera with no expectations other than to learn something new. What I found was a completely new creative outlet.

Film has challenged me creatively, slowed me down, and reminded me that some of the most meaningful moments aren’t perfectly polished. After a year of learning through trial, error, and a lot of rolls of film, I knew I wanted to bring that experience to my couples. In 2026, film became a part of every wedding I photograph.

There’s something special about knowing these images were captured on a physical negative. The process takes more time and effort, but every time I get scans back I’m reminded why it is worth it.

A little nostalgic. A little imperfect. A whole lot of real. 🤍

I have been keeping a secret! Last month I had the immense honor of being contacted by Vogue and offered the opportunity to feature in their spring campaign. I am so excited to announce that I have chosen to accept it and will have features in the February, March, and April editions. I am completely blown away by this opportunity, but cannot claim total surprise after having the most stunning brides in front of my camera this year. Thank you so much to everyone who has trusted me over the years with your most precious memories!
