WHAT IF MY BABY WON’T GO TO SLEEP DURING THEIR NEWBORN SESSION?! 😳👶🏻💕

Mama, I promise you, I’m not worried about it! 😂

I’ve been photographing newborns for over 15 years, and one thing I’ve learned is that babies have their OWN plans sometimes. And that’s perfectly okay! 🥹

So what happens if your little one decides they’re going to stay wide awake for their photos?!

Here’s what we do! 👇

💕 First, we make sure baby is comfortable! Fed, changed, and happy. We always take care of baby’s needs before worrying about photos.

💕 Then, we just let baby be awake! Sometimes that means capturing those gorgeous wide-open eyes, tiny expressions, and little arms and legs stretching and moving around. I LOVE awake newborn portraits!

💕 If baby needs some extra comfort, we swaddle! That gentle, snug feeling can help little ones settle and relax.

💕 And then? We give baby time. As baby gets comfortable and sleepy, we can transition into those sweet, curled-up newborn poses everyone loves.

Here’s the thing, mama…

I am NOT stressed out if your baby is awake. And I don’t want YOU to be stressed out either! ❤️

I have years and years of experience soothing, settling, and safely posing newborns. We follow baby’s cues, take breaks when needed, and never force a pose or rush a little one who needs extra comfort.

You hired an experienced newborn photographer for a reason! My job is to handle the photography so you can relax and enjoy watching your sweet baby. 🥹💕

I’ve NEVER been as busy photographing babies and families as I have been since moving to Florida! 🥹💕

I recently had a mama ask me if I photograph anything besides newborns, and I had to laugh a little! 😂

YES!! I have over 100,000 photos of beautiful babies, mamas, and families! I’ve just been so busy photographing and editing lately that I’ve mainly had time to share my newborn sessions!
