Hello friends and clients.
I am re-establishing my photography business for the area that I am living in now, but looking for some fresh faces (or, long time clients who would love to take some fresh pictures in the woods!).
These lucky people will help me decorate my new website with portfolio examples showing a pine mountain backdrop, while I am working on optimizing it with SEO etc. I will be selecting a few people for a limited time for some free 30 minute photo shoots - if interested please send me a message.

A bit of an update on me... Needless to say, the past year and a half or so has been a bit of a struggle to many people across the world both professionally and personally - so many people have gone through many tough challenges that many were not prepared handling.
Two years ago today, in August of 2019, I moved from my big house in Santa Clarita Ca to a smaller quaint and cozy home in a small town about an hour northwest called Pine Mountain Club.
It is nestled in a pristine pine filled valley of the Los Padres National Forest, just about 15 minutes further than Frazier Park and before you get over the Grapevine on the 5 Freeway to Bakersfield, Ca. I stopped doing as many photo shoots or promoting myself due to the fact that my old website was optimized for Santa Clarita / San Fernando Valley / Hollywood / West LA, and I now lived quite far to be out there as often as I was before.
Being mostly a city girl, I had quite a bit of a hard time adjusting to the quiet isolated rural life and far from all the "big box stores" and conveniences of city life one normally takes for granted. I left for a while shortly after moving here and went to Australia from November 2019 to March of 2020 to be with and work with my partner at the time. I then brought my partner back to California with me just as the pandemic got real serious and things started to lock down and schools closed. Right when I landed and had all these big plans about how I was going to make my businesses skyrocket, bam. Eek. Over the following year, the disappointment and losses were difficult. But actually, there have been many great learning opportunities along the way.
So, yeah and 2020 happened... we all know how that went down.
My partner of course had to go back to Australia in May of 2020 and do what he needed to rebuild and maintain his Australian based business in Melbourne, and our plans for the future gradually got swept under the rug as other aspects of our current life and livingness took precedence and demanded more attention.
Over the past year I have been working on other ventures and projects to build income for my family and achieve goals. I also do freelance digital marketing services and content writing, as well as working on another business.
Being a single parent with kids at home instead of school while trying to work has not been easy to say the least. Thankfully this last winter was not too harsh for my first full winter here by myself!
I eventually did "get used to" living in Pine Mountain Club. It really is a beautiful place and I've met many wonderful people who live here and share the same love for it. I'd say sometimes I still miss the city, so who knows how long I'll end up living here! But I feel pretty lucky actually to be living in such a serene, clean, beautiful place. It is full of really helpful, decent people with a real community spirit to it.
So for now, I am not moving again for at least a little while, and I am ready again to rebuild my photography business with fresh new vigor. When I was in Australia earlier this year I got a new subscription to Zenfolio and little by little I've found the time over the past month to put some effort into getting it set up again. Because I am now in a different area, I have had to completely re-do my website, dig up some of my work to represent on it from hard drives that were stored in boxes, build out a new Google business page, new SEO to be searchable for this area, etc. It has been a major mission!
I am now looking for fresh faces and clients to fill up the home page portfolio section of my new website to help promote the beautiful backdrops of Pine Mountain Club, Mt Pinos, Frazier Park and surrounding natural areas. I am ready to start establishing my photography business for this area - and will give premium service to those who are willing to make the trip up here for a special photo shoot in these idyllic settings.
