Katie Miles and Mac celebrated years of love and friendship with a beautifully colorful wedding at the Dixon Gallery & Gardens.

From high school sweethearts to husband and wife, every part of the day felt deeply personal, especially during the getting ready moments where Katie’s beloved dog, Harry, completely stole the show. Harry was truly the star of the morning and the sweetest start to such a joyful day. Every time I see photo #5 I laugh until I cry. It will never not be funny.

This Mother’s Day looks a little different this year for me personally. For the last 6 years my precious mother has been battling Alzheimer’s disease. Slowly year after year she has lost pieces of herself along with the memory of me. Over the last few months she has slipped further into the grips of this nasty disease and I’ve watched my beautiful momma slip further and future away from the memory of who she was and who she is.

Every wedding I’ve photographed over the last five years has changed me. I’ve become intentional about savoring the love shared between these beautiful women. I cherish every moment I get to witness on wedding days because I know that one day, photographs may become the only way their loved ones can hold onto those memories.

Cheers to all the women in this world. We serve such a beautiful purpose, and one day will never be enough to celebrate all that you are.

Abby & Jared’s wedding weekend was centered around family in every way. Held at Abby’s family home, with a tent in the backyard, a lakeside chuppah, and loved ones surrounding them at every turn, the entire celebration felt deeply personal and full of heart. It was loud, lively, and overflowing with laughter.

I had the most amazing time working with you! You are truly the life of the party, and it was a joy to be a part of.

Set in the heart of Greenwood, Mississippi, Shields and Litton’s wedding weekend felt deeply rooted in place and story, where the Yalobusha River meets the Little Tallahatchie, tucked into the bend of a quiet farm road at the groom’s generational family home. It was personal, intentional, and effortlessly beautiful in a way that only home can hold.

Though their days are now spent in Washington, D.C., making their mark in politics, this celebration was a return to where it all began. Surrounded by family and friends, they had met along their journey to marriage.

Shields and Litton, Congratulations. We truly enjoyed every minute working with you and your family. It was just the perfect weekend.

Spring wedding of everyone’s dreams.

From the custom dance floor to serpentine seating and layered tented spaces, every detail of Lele and Garrett’s Memphis celebration was designed to be experienced.
But at the heart of it all is a story years in the making, theirs began in the Accounting program at the University of Georgia. What started as a group project turned into a friendship, then best friends, and eventually something more.

We had such a wonderful time working with you Lele and Garrett! The weekend was absolutely perfect.
