In 2020, at 17 years old, I shot my first wedding. I had no idea that one August day would shape the next seven years of my life.
——
Since then, I’ve had the honor of documenting so many incredible couples — hot summer days, freezing winter ones, big celebrations, and intimate vows. Being trusted with something so sacred has been one of the greatest gifts of my life. I have poured my whole heart into every wedding I’ve photographed.
——
As many of you know, I get married this fall. As Wyatt and I begin building our life together, we’ve been thoughtfully planning what we want our future to look like — and that includes a big family.
——
Because weddings are typically booked far in advance, I have to be intentional about planning my own life in advance.
——
With that in mind, I will not be accepting wedding dates beyond June 30th, 2027.
——
This is not me announcing the end of photography. It’s simply me creating space for the season ahead — one where my family will need me close to home. I will continue offering family sessions, baby milestones, couples, and special requests. Weddings will no longer be something I actively advertise for, and any future decisions around them will depend on the season of life I’m in at that time.
——
Photography is still my career. Weddings are still something I deeply love. I’m just choosing to build my calendar around the life I want to create.
——
At the same time, I’m expanding other areas of my business(es) that I’m excited to share more about soon.
——
These past seven years of weddings have shaped me in ways I can’t fully explain. I am endlessly grateful for every couple who trusted me.
——
This isn’t goodbye — it’s just intentional planning.
