Emerson absolutely knocked her session out of the park, and I'm so in love with so many of the beautiful images we captured. She and her sweet mom were such a joy to spend the morning with. It was one of those sessions that reminds me just how much I love what I do. 🤍

Meet Jack File — the second File brother to step in front of my camera, and honestly? He did not disappoint.
Just like his older brother, Jack is an absolute sweetheart. Easy to work with, fun to be around, and he showed up with his style completely dialed in. That’s been a theme this year — the guys are seriously bringing it. Every single one has come with their own vibe, their own look, and it makes for the best sessions.
There’s something extra special about photographing siblings. Watching this family grow up in front of my lens is a gift I don’t take lightly.

Alea picked the most perfect locations for her senior session — a charming little park in Lawrence, and a sunflower field that honestly stopped us in our tracks. 🌻

We shot on a Friday evening when the heat was absolutely relentless (no exaggeration). But Alea? Completely unbothered. Her mom was right there the whole time, sweet and present, cheering her girl on at every turn — and that kind of energy makes everything feel so easy.

Sunflower fields do something to the light. It goes warm and golden and a little magical, and you just never want to leave.

Some mornings, the world offers you something so soft and golden that you almost can’t believe it’s real.

This was one of those mornings.

We started before sunrise — the fog still hung low over the water, with the light just barely touching the tops of the trees. And she stepped into it as if she belonged there. (Because she did.)

There’s something about early morning sessions that simply can’t be replicated—the stillness, the glow, the way the mist wraps around everything like a dream you’re not quite ready to wake from.
