Mother’s Day feels a little different when your mom is no longer here.

This chocolate cake was my mom’s recipe, and making it felt like a small way to spend time with her again. The handwritten recipe card, the memory of her making it in her kitchen for special occasions…it brings back memories that words never fully can.

I miss her every single day, but especially on days like today.

So this cake is more than a recipe. It is love. It is a memory. It is a piece of her still being shared at the table.

Happy Mother’s Day to my mom in heaven, and to all the moms, grandmas, and mother figures who leave pieces of themselves in the people they love. 🤍

There’s something satisfying about photographing food that looks delicious but actually delivers on nutrition

Brami Protein Pasta in its element with a rich roasted pepper sauce, fresh basil, with freshly grated parm. 21g of protein per serving, made in Italy from lupini superbeans. What more could you ask for!

This is exactly the kind of project that reminds me why I love this work.

Spring, but make it intentional.

Fresh strawberries, creamy yogurt, a little crunch from granola, and just enough color to bring it all to life. Simple ingredients, styled with purpose.

This is the kind of content that makes a recipe feel approachable, fresh, and worth making.

If you’re a food brand or blogger heading into your busy season, now is the time to make sure your visuals are working just as hard as your recipes.

Let’s create something that stops the scroll and tells your story.

Spring has a way of making something familiar feel new again.

Fresh berries, bright citrus, lighter textures. The same recipes your customers already love, just with a seasonal shift that feels inviting and current.

That same idea applies to your visuals.

As your menu changes for spring, your imagery should reflect it. Fresh, clean, and intentional photos help your products stand out and draw people in before they ever take a bite.

If you are a bakery updating your spring offerings, this is the perfect time to refresh your visuals and showcase what makes your work special.

I would love to help you create imagery that highlights your seasonal menu and connects with your customers in a meaningful way.

Every image has a purpose.

Sometimes that means layering in details to create a full story.
Sometimes it means simplifying and letting the product carry the entire frame.

Knowing which direction to take is what turns a good image into one that actually connects with your audience.

This one deserved its own moment.

Lately, I’ve been leaning into deeper tones and richer color—letting contrast do the work and allowing the food to truly stand out. With a dish like this, the depth, the warmth, and the subtle highlights bring everything to life in a way that feels both elevated and intentional.

It’s not just about capturing a recipe…it’s about creating an image that makes people pause.

If you’re looking to elevate your brand with imagery that feels bold, refined, and scroll-stopping, I’d love to work together.

I have really felt things starting to shift in March.

There were hints of spring showing up in the details - lighter tones, fresh elements, and a little more play in each setup. It brought a different kind of energy into my work, and honestly, it was a lot of fun.

This month also pushed me in new ways. I had the opportunity to attend a food styling workshop, and it completely changed how I look at the small details. The tiny adjustments, the intentional placement, the way everything works together to tell a story. It gave me a whole new appreciation for the craft and challenged me to step outside of my comfort zone.

Growth doesn’t always look big from the outside, but this month felt significant. A shift in perspective. A reminder to stay creative, stay curious, and keep pushing.

I’m excited to keep building, refining, and moving forward toward the goals I’ve set.

If you’ve been thinking about elevating your food photography, this is your sign to start.
