So I took the Canon RF 85mm f/1.2 L USM lens out for a test today and WOW! 🤯👌🏽 It didn’t miss a beat! It’s SUPER SHARP! Even wide open at 1.2!
Me and my sister, Cierra went downtown in Ottumwa, IA! It was around 12:30pm when we started! A beautiful, sunny day! ☀️ Started over by Main and Market St, then we hit the alleyway, then we ended up back we started but on the opposite side.

As you can see, the sun was beaming right at us, but I found this tree with a little pocket of shade that I used. Of course I used my Flashpoint Lighting XPLOR 600 + 42” Glow Beauty Dish! And I also took the Westcott Photography wagon out for a test today, and it’s one of the most convenient inventions ever! And the wheels are solid! 🛞🙌🏽
I won’t lie, on video it looks cheap af, but it’s a solid wagon. My only complaint is that I wish it was a little longer! 😃
But overall, I’m impressed with the Canon RF 85mm f/1.2 L USM lens!
It’s solid! 💯🔥🔥🔥

Thanks to everyone who booked a fall mini session! 😃🙌🏽🍁 Your images will be ready within a couple days!

Fall minis are over, but if you’d still like to book one, it’s no longer $125, it’s $200! ☺️ Because I’ll be setting up the backdrop special just for you!

Christmas minis with Santa Claus will be announced soon! 🎅🏼

I already ordered the backdrop! Just gotta set it up once I get it, take pictures of a beautiful family, and make the announcement. Because you know… I don’t steal Pinterest photos and put “Photos are not mine, just for inspo” 🙂‍↔️

I take the time to create my own images so you can know 100% sure what you can expect! Photographers don’t say this enough! So I’ll say it! 😜 I see it happening all the time. Even in Ottumwa! But you know.. 🐸☕️🤷🏽‍♂️

In this video, I break down how I projected the ultra sound in the maternity photo!

I used the Epson EpiqVision Flex CO-W01 3000-Lumen Projector to project the ultra sound photo onto the backdrop!

It’s very important to expose for the projector light (why I used ISO 1000), and use grids on your modifiers to make the light more directional.

Also be sure to angle the lights to where they’re not hitting the backdrop, that way you’ll be able to see the projected image in the photo!

I’m shooting with the Canon EOS R5 + RF 50mm f/1.2 L USM lens!
The lights used was the Godox AD100 Pro + 20” Glow Deep Parabolic Softbox + Grid
Flashpoint XPLOR 600 + 12x56” Glow Stripbox + Grid
