If rain on your wedding day is good luck, these two are off to a great start because it poured here in the morning but cleared just in time for us to enjoy some pictures around the courthouse before they had a nice dinner party with family and friends!
Congrats to this family!! 2026 is going to be a good year!! :)

This summer I have been the extended family photographer and honestly, I love it. All the fun group shots and getting everyone together has been fun. I had this family who was staying at Heritage Harbor Ottawa and I had a family staying at Michelle Hebding and Camp Aramoni and one at Kishauwau Cabins !!! So many fun memories and I love being able to capture some family shots for everyone. Especially when I can get everyone smiling!!!

Don’t over think the outfits or how everyone will behave just get in the picture. Trust me it will be fine. I will sing some Bluey or make fun of your husband’s murder face and we will all laugh and it will be over sooner than you realize and you’ll have some gems of this stage of life. Now having teenagers I look back at the choas years and cherish every photo even the ones I look like the tired overstimulated mom I was at the time. And I have to do better about capturing this stage of life with me and the kids because they are still growing and changing and our relationship is evolving and I still want to have pictures to look back at us together and not just them in their activities (that rules our life at the moment). Fall is busy but it’s also so nice out and so pretty here in the Midwest. So let’s do some photos! I have LOTS of Sundays open. So weeknights and Sundays will be available until they are gone and I’d truly love to see your beautiful families. $300 for a half, $450 for a full session. Love ya, bye!! ;)

I am only half way through culling these photos and I just can’t NOT post some!!! I had the best time with this fresh 1 year old outside at his new house, which happens to be a house I drive by all the time and think, man, that yard is perfect for pictures. Well good thing he liked me because that first perfect snowfall I am coming over for some magical photos in those perfect pine trees!!! :)
