As if life couldn’t be more exciting around here recently… dropped their Spring Issue, and one of my favorite images was featured! has been a constant source of inspiration for me from the start of my photography career, and the work they share always leaves me feeling like I’m catching a glimpse into real LIVES, captured with the intention to highlight the beauty of authenticity. I am so honored to see my work next to the work of so many amazing artists from around the world.

Important Update!

As a reminder, I will be OUT on leave beginning next week through the end of June, and returning to photography full time July 1st. I will be giving my email a break during this time, so if you have any immediate needs or questions be sure to reach out ASAP!

I had a massive influx of urgent session needs in January/February that needed prioritizing, so I am trying my best to get caught up on an overwhelming inbox before I am out starting next week -- so if you are still waiting on a response from me, there is a true potential that it may have been missed as I filter through them. Please do not hesitate to give me a nudge or send a follow up, especially if it is an urgent request/need! I deeply apologize for the delayed responses -- I NEVER want to leave someone completely unanswered, so know that if I have it is unintentional, and I truly appreciate you reaching out a second time!

My 2026 calendar for family session is currently FULL (minus November & December.) I may open up more spaces here & there throughout the year last minute if I find I am able to squeeze some in, but for the moment the calendar is full!

For my booked families/couples, you will receive an email from me the month prior to the month you pre-booked for to schedule your exact session date.

Let’s talk BUSINESS 💪

Everytime I have the opportunity to photograph a small business, I am humbled. As a small business owner myself, I know the level of passion and vision that comes with every step of creating and growing the brand that you want your business to be known for. It’s so much more than what you offer or physically bring to your space. It’s the community you foster. The way you make people FEEL. And everything you bring to your space flows back into your personal life on the deepest level. It’s raised with the same core values on which you raise your family. It’s the impact you make on those who connect with what you do. The message you send is the message your heart has been feeding your brain since the moment you mustered the courage to jump at the opportunity to build your vision.

And that’s the true definition of branding.

It’s authentically YOU. Your strengths and vulnerabilities. Your biggest wins and hardest losses, all of which have brought you to right here. Your people appreciate what you do, but they don’t connect with that. They connect with your story. Why are you here? Where are you going? And who do you want to join you?

I’ve found business branding to be the ultimate opportunity for storytelling, and it’s applicable to EVERY business. Strip away trends & “professional” headshots, and trust in what makes your business the unicorn that it is. Then photograph the hell out it, and share it with your people. 📸

Valentine’s Minis are open for booking!!

KIDS ONLY- Festina, IA
20 minutes | 30 images (with the option to upgrade your gallery for all images for + $75)

Booking for weekday sessions is scheduled individually & based on availability, starting now through Feb 6th. We will coordinate a time that works!

Daytime Weekday (8 AM- 3:30 PM) $200 + tax
Evening Weekday (4:30 PM-6:00 PM) $240 + tax

One Weekend Date available! Sunday Feb. 8th; 1:30-3:30 PM $240 + tax

IMPORTANT — for natural light images (see slides 1-6 of this post) you will need to book a daytime session before 4:00 PM due to available light. All evening sessions will be cool vibes only (aka FLASH 😎; see slide 7-end of post for examples. Flash images are available any time of day.

30 images from each gallery (your selected favs) will be delivered priority before Valentine’s Day. If upgrading to full gallery, remaining images will be delivered by the week after.

I am truly obsessed with this setup — it’s designed completely for PLAY, with many props & activities to choose from to make it a super fun experience for the kids. Come ready to party!

2027 Seniors are now open for booking!

I am only opening my calendar to current family customers this year as well as a limited number of senior sessions in July & August. There are only a few evening packages available for booking, so if you are a 2027 senior that was hoping to snag a spot, reach out ASAP!

There are a few different packages to meet a variety of needs. The "Golden Hour + Coffee Meetup" Packages are my only evening option for seniors, whereas the "Senior Milestone Package" takes place during daytime hours.

Facebook friends!!!

I am going to be the first to admit -- my Facebook game has been SLOW. Like terribly so. For someone who spends many many hours a day in front of a screen, I've found myself prioritizing sharing in a way that feels more authentic & FUN. Which I find myself doing more of on my Instagram 🙃 If you've been missing seeing all the fun I've been having with families this Fall/Winter, head over to Insta & follow me there!

I keep saying I'll catch up here, but then I don't, and I feel guilty about it, and it's a cycle. So, this time I won't make false promises, but know that I am still here 😊

January & February are still available for booking, but getting closer to full! Only a few sessions left for each month.

As a reminder, I will NOT be taking on sessions March- late June of 2026 . Also new in 2026, I will no longer be scheduling weekend sessions. I know this is tough for many families, and it was a really tough decision to make, but with the amount of both daytime & evening sessions filling the calendar I need to also prioritize time with my own family by setting some boundaries in my calendar. I am so grateful for all of the kind feedback I've received with this decision -- I work with THE best families!

I opened my calendar to current customers only for July - December of 2026 for pre-booking last week (so if you're a current/past customer, check your email!!), knowing that my 2026 calendar will be more limited with less months out of the year to work with, I will only be opening my calendar to new clients if spaces are available after current/past customers have had the opportunity to book. I will keep everyone notified on here if months are being opened up to new customers.

A special note for SENIORS this year -- my evening sessions will be SUPER limited this year after the already booked pre-booked family sessions for July/August. I will be opening up my calendar to Seniors the first week of January for pre-booking. Be sure to reach out early if you are in need of an evening session, they will go fast!

Holiday Themed Basement Micro-Minis are available for booking! I am offering these as both daytime & evening options, booked for whenever works for you (based on availability!). These will run now through mid-December. These are for CHILDREN ONLY due to the small space. Adults are welcome to try to hop in, just know that you may feel squished :)

Families are encouraged to bring your own flair to the space! Bring anything that makes the holidays feel like "home" to you -- special clothing, old toys, favorite books, matching PJs. The options are endless! I will also have props/sweet treats available that fit the theme (candy canes/cookies/etc)

*IMPORTANT NOTE* Evening Sessions & Daytime Sessions will have varying looks due to lighting. Evening sessions (after dark) will be studio lit, whereas daytime sessions will use natural light, which impacts the look of the images.

Images 1-5 below are late evening (8 PM) studio lit images.
Images 6-12 are mid-morning/natural light images
The remaining images are flash (available during both session times!)

Sessions are 15 minutes/10 images with the option to purchase more within the gallery. Scheduled mid-week only (weekends not available).

Daytime Sessions -$120 + tax
Evening Sessions (after 4:30 PM) -$160 + tax
ONE WEEK TURNAROUND from the date of your session!

I am only taking 10 sessions now through mid-December!

This session was the slowdown I needed. The perfect documentation of home. Where even when you’re dressed to the nines, there’s work to be done, and memories to be made. The pull between toddler energy & baby shoulder snuggles. This phase of life is truly a dream, and we are so lucky to live it.
