My name is Justin Young and I am very excited to serve as the new Principal of Osawatomie High School. I began working in education as a para at Olathe South working with a variety of students. I then worked in Alternative Education, again in Olathe Public Schools, teaching Science to all of the students who attended. After 4 years, I moved to Olathe Northwest where I was a Physical Science teacher and an Animal Science teacher. I have a double Bachelor’s degree in Biology and Secondary Education from UMKC, earned my Master’s from Pitt State, and my Doctorate in 2021 from Baker University.
When I am not working, I love spending time with my family. My wife Bekah is a Special Education teacher in Olathe at the Elementary level. We have two boys, Landon is almost 10 and going into 4th grade, and Christian is almost 5 and still in pre-school. As a family we love to travel, spend time at the lake, we attend Sporting KC games, we love KU and the Chiefs.
I am looking forward to a great year as a part of the Trojan community and really excited to see all of the Trojan Pride.
