This series lives where portraiture meets transformation. Where identity bends, fractures, and rebuilds itself under light.
Each image explores a different character—some subtle, some feral, some otherworldly.
From raw, fashion-forward minimalism to full creature and horror-inspired makeup, this work is about expression without apology. Texture over perfection. Mood over comfort. Story over surface.
These aren’t costumes.
They’re manifestations.
Lighting, color, and styling were treated as narrative tools—every shadow intentional, every hue chosen to amplify emotion. The result is a collection that shifts between beauty and unease, control and chaos, familiarity and the uncanny.
If one image makes you linger a little longer, that’s the point.

There’s something powerful about placing softness against sharpness.
Flesh against splintered wood.
Movement against stillness.
Life against what time has taken away.

This image explores the quiet conversation between the human form and nature’s scars—twisted, weathered trees shaped by storms, salt, and years of survival. What some might call “ugly,” others might recognize as history, resilience, and beauty in its rawest form.

The body here isn’t meant to dominate the landscape or disappear into it.
It exists with it.
Vulnerable. Strong. Temporary. Alive.
To me, this is where art lives—in the tension between fragility and endurance, between elegance and erosion. A reminder that beauty doesn’t come from perfection… it comes from contrast.

The swamp called to her—and she answered.

This otherworldly beauty transformed into a swamp siren, complete with shimmering scales, golden glitter, and just the right touch of eerie magic. Between the FX makeup, the wild Florida backdrop, and that glint in her eye... these shots feel like stills from a film you want to get lost in.

There are shoots—and then there are experiences.
This was the latter.

Shooting this absolutely next-level creation by in a gritty industrial location gave us everything: dramatic shadows, neon glows, steam curling through the frame. It felt less like photography and more like filming a scene from the best sci-fi movie never made.

This is what happens when you bring together artists who build worlds with their hands, and photographers who light them like a dream. I'm lucky to work with such wildly talented creatives—collaborators who show up and go off.

Shooting on location brings a raw authenticity that studio work sometimes can’t. It breathes life into the character. The light reacts, the atmosphere builds, and the costume just owns its space.
