This is Western Shores. I shot this music video with Kill The Robot last September as part of their campaign leading up to the release of their debut, self titled album. We shot this entire video in one day, with just 2 other, incredible crew members. It was no easy feat to frame and light every shot, pull focus from the barrel while cam op’ing hand held but these are the days we live for as filmmakers, photographers & musicians.

A fun fact about the video is that all of the beach footage is actually footage that I shot in Malibu in 2017 the day that I received my 1DX Mark II in the mail. The footage had been sitting on a hard drive for nearly 8 years before getting dusted off and actually used in a project. I loved that I could incorporate some footage from own personal past into the project instead of opting to use stock footage. I want to give a huge shout to .przz for the fire photos and for absolutely busting his ass to help me move equipment all day to make this happen, and another thank you to for making it all happen.

Anthony is one of those individuals you just get lucky to have become friends with. Over the years I’ve gotten to document quite a few pieces of his life - whether it be him tattooing, painting incredible canvases, in the studio making music, playing live shows at Warped Tour, cars and motorcycles etc. It’s always been great to have someone in my corner that values my work the same way I value their own art. It was hard to pick just 10 photos for this post, but swipe all the to the end for a surprise 🫄🏽

I’m glad life let our paths cross, congrats on your next chapter of life, can’t wait to see Little Lara running around the studio 🖤
