This picture was taken in Daytona Beach with a 35mm film camera. To me, it captures the perfect beach day the warm sun, the blue sky, and an ice cream to cool down and refresh the day. Everything comes together with that nostalgic feeling that film photography brings through its beautiful colors.

I have been taking birthday photos for this little girl for four years. Her first birthday was one of my first photoshoots, so these are always very special to me. Each year her parents and I come up with a theme that represents her personality at that time, and for her third birthday, we went with a fairy theme to capture the magic of her imagination.

My wife and I like to spend our weekends at Disney World, so this just happened to be one of those days where I had my camera on hand and snapped a quick photo while we waited in line for Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. The cool thing about Disney is that "picture ready" moments are nearly everywhere you look - so an amateur like myself can snap a decent photo or two. đŸ˜…
