Editing matters.
Style matters.
Personal preferences matter.
Familiarize yourself with a photographer’s style/ body of work before choosing which one is right for you.
There’s no point in quality work that hits all technical aspects if it’s not something that speaks to your soul.
Art is subjective.
If they have a wide range of styles, be specific about what you’re looking for...
both these pictures were taken in the same setting, same time, just different edits.
(And please don’t ask your photographer to re-edit something if you weren’t specific about how you wanted it).
