Do you know someone who laughs at everything? The one who always has a joke ready, who never misses a chance to make everyone smile. The one who seems untouched by problems, who always has energy, as if there were never any storms inside.
What most people don’t realize is that the people who laugh the most are often carrying the heaviest burdens. They use laughter to avoid overthinking, humor to keep from breaking apart, and endless energy to hide the exhaustion weighing on their soul.
They become experts at hiding pain behind smiles, covering cracks with jokes, and pretending everything is okay. Because deep down, they feel that if they stop making others laugh, someone might finally notice what they’re really going through.
They’re the ones who say, “I’m fine.” The ones who are always there for everyone else. The ones who listen, support, and encourage others, even while quietly falling apart inside.
Sometimes, the brightest smile in the room is hiding the deepest pain.
