Bella, where the hell have you been loca?!

I know, I know... I've been neglecting this page a little bit 😅

The honest truth is that I was feeling a ~teensy~ bit burnt out after a busy spring season and gave myself permission and space to take a step back and evaluate what I want my business and my life to look like moving forward.

Since starting this business 9 years ago now, things in this industry have changed so much (some for the better, some for worse) and it's left me with a few different options: ride the waves as they come, sink to the bottom, or swim to shore.

After a lot of contemplation, I decided I have the power to make my own fourth option: swim to a slightly shallower area where my feet can touch the bottom.

So, what exactly does any of this mean?

Basically that I'm changing the pace a bit by taking on fewer big weddings, more intimate weddings, backyard weddings, elopements and portrait shoots and working on completely streamlining my business to make things easier on myself and my clients.

It's so easy to get caught up in what everyone else is doing and forget that you can just choose to carve your own path.

Success doesn't always mean doing more. Sometimes it means doing less but doing it with more intention. And I think that's exactly where I'm meant to be right now.

So, here's to creating a business that's sustainable, joyful, and true to who I am so that I can keep putting my whole heart into showing up for the couples who trust me to tell their stories.
