Sneak peeks from this gorgeous Kelly Park Rock Springs elopement yesterday morning!

If you're planning to elope at the springs, the fall and winter months are ideal since the parks aren't nearly as crowded. We actually had the whole place pretty much to ourselves aside from several herds of deer, wild turkey, and a family of raccoons!

After our morning exploring the park, we headed back to the airbnb for some cake and champagne in the hot tub!

I still pinch myself that this is my actual job?? How lucky am I to get to witness and capture memories for amazing people like these two 🥰 I'm forever grateful

I can't believe I'm coming up on 7 incredible years of Calli Crawford Photography

When I first started out, I remember researching careers in wedding photography online. What I found was that most people give up in their first year of business. That it wasn't as profitable as it seemed. The burnout rate was high and it was an oversaturated market anyway so why even bother trying.

I wasn't sure if I could ever build something all on my own that would give me enough financial stability to live and continue doing this thing that I loved so much. And while I've poured my all into this business over the last 7 years, I didn't do it all on my own.

I did it with the help of my amazing boyfriend who's been here from day one, cheering me on and literally taking time off work to come with me to shoots and weddings to help carry my equipment and for moral support when I needed it in the beginning (I was always sooo nervous) and who encouraged me to take a leap of faith and leave a job that was holding me back. I did it with the advice from my incredible mom who was has run several successful businesses herself. I did it with the support of my family and friends who were always mentioning my name in a room full of opportunities.

And most of all, I did it because of everyone who has trusted me with some of their most important moments in life. It's never lost on me that these photos will outlive us all. That one day, they may be all that someone has left of a person they love very much. I feel so incredibly lucky that I am not only able to make a living doing what I love, but that what I do has such an impact.

All this to say, thanks for an amazing 7 years of Calli Crawford Photography and here's to many, many more 🥂

courthouse elopements >>>

I had the absolute pleasure of witnessing Laura & Spencer tie the knot at the courthouse Thursday morning followed by a beautiful afternoon spent taking photos around downtown, eating cupcakes, and popping a bottle of bubbly in the parking garage!

After 16 years together, these two decided to elope this week and I was so happy that I had their date available when they reached out just a couple of days ago. I even had the honor of making Laura’s bouquet with the most gorgeous spring colors!

This was actually my first Orange County Courthouse elopement and I loved it sooo much, I want to do a million more. If you’re considering a courthouse elopement I’d love to chat about how we can make your day as special and memorable as possible while getting dreamy photos that tell your story!

Who else is soooo excited that October is here!?

Halloween is my second favorite holiday (Christmas is my fave, something about the nostalgia and magic of it just can’t be beat) and I totally meant to post these yesterday in honor of the first day of October, but I had a long and busy day second shooting a beautful wedding in Tampa with my girl Paris Scott!

The day after a wedding is usually a full recovery day for me since being on your feet for 10+ hours, carrying heavy gear, and 3+ hours in the car all while not drinking enough water definitely takes it toll haha, so I’ve been relaxing on the couch all day today. I can’t wait to finish decorating our house for Halloween and thrifting/crafting my costume though!

I’m thrilled to finally share these black and white snaps from a styled shoot in September planned by the ever so talented Perfectly Planned by Yas! They feel like an editorial take on a Halloween wedding to me, and this Stunning Lily's Bridal dress on Kelly is one of the most stunning I’ve ever seen!
