A new series by Atomic Phoenix

I set out to create a series of images that individually told the story of one of my favorite pass time, gaming. As an avid gamer I love immersing myself into a well made game that transforms you into the hero or the villain of a story. With the series “Blurred Lines” I brought that concept to life. I did so by taking six gamers and transforming then into characters of popular genres from games, blurring the lines between the real world and the video game world. As I began the series I started to develop which genres out of so many I would choose to bring to life and eventually settled on these six: “The Athlete.” “The Cook,” “The Adventurer,” “The Puzzle Solver,” “The Soldier of Fortune,” and “The Warrior Queen.” Each of these character represent the genres of Sports games (Madden '16), virtual cooking games (Cooking Mama), Adventure games (Uncharted), Puzzle games (Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box), First person shooters (Call of Duty), and MMORPGs (World of Warcraft).
