It’s wild to think that we all went to the same high school together, and now I’m here capturing their engagement photos. I started my photography journey back in those days, not knowing where it would take me. Now, seeing these two grow and sharing in such an important moment in their lives? It’s so special. It’s crazy how time flies and how full-circle moments like this really hit. 💍📸

The other day, someone commented on a post and said...

"These photos make you feel like you know them without ever meeting them."
And I haven’t stopped thinking about it since.

Because that right there is exactly why I love what I do. It’s why I believe so deeply in storytelling through photos.

I have created a team of photographers who specialize in documentary-style photography, which means we’re capturing your day as it truly unfolds. Not overly posed, not forced, just real. Real love, real emotion, real connection.

We give you prompts and space to be fully yourselves, and we focus on the in-between moments... the ones that often matter most later on.

One of the things I love most about having a team of photographers is getting to relive the day through their lens.

Even though I wasn’t there in person, receiving the photos and going through them to edit makes me feel like I was. I laugh, I smile, I cry all the time when editing my teams photos.

It’s the most beautiful reminder that emotion, connection, and storytelling can be felt… even from afar. That’s the power of this work, and I’m so proud of the heart my team pours into every single wedding. 🤍

Looking back on how I started...

Lately I have been looking at old engagement sessions and weddings… just reminiscing. It’s been such a sweet reminder of how far I’ve come, how much I’ve learned, and why I started this journey in the first place.

Not just for the love of photography... but for the love stories, the connection, the realness (as cliché as that might sound, it’s true). I've met the sweetest couples & families over the years. And I’ve grown so much not just as a photographer, but as a person and business owner.

As I go through these photos, I am also reminded that this journey truly started right here on Instagram. From sharing my work on social media just because to booking my very first client. And now, I've been able to do what I love to do and live a life I love. I've been able to buy a house for my family, be debt-free, create a work schedule that works for me, be home with my little boy, and so much more. All because I started this business 5+ years ago... on Instagram.

So thank you. Thank you for following along on this journey of mine. And for all your support.

Every like, comment, hare, referral, and word of encouragement has meant more than you know. Your support has been a part of this growth, and I don’t take it for granted. 🤍

Most people tell me they’re awkward in front of the camera, but that’s where I come in. It’s my job to guide you, give you prompts, and create space for you to just be yourselves. The real magic happens in the in-between moments... with laughs, glances, little touches, playfulness.

All you have to do is trust me. And that’s what I love capturing most. 🤍
