Back in 2015, I took and posted the 2nd photo. I was happy with the shot, but now with ’s ai denoise, I was able to reprocess it and get much better clarity (1st image). People have asked about me if it was photoshopped as a comp (2015 version), and I can say that besides color correction, some burning/dodging, and removal of two glares, it was not. Last image is “straight out of the camera” raw version. I wish I could remove some of the star trail motion blur, created by the long exposure, but there’s not a lot great tools for that…yet.

And now that I can properly edit these (see previous post), here are some other shots from that series. My friends were patient enough to wait for me for 2 1/2 hours while I “did my thing” with only lots of wine charcuterie to keep them company. It was fun (but cold) night with the sounds of occasional wolves howling in the background. I would been scared, except we knew that there was a wolf sanctuary nearby. I was safe, right? 😱

Super impressed with ‘s ai denoise feature in Two years ago I posted a picture that I took in with some friends. The pic was okay, but I was disappointed in how much noise there was. As a result, I was unable to process the way wanted to and had keep the sky darker than preferred. Fast forward to now, and the denoise feature fixed that!
➡️1 - preferred adjusted image with denoise 2 - original image with preferred adjustments (notice the grain/noise) 3 - originally posted image (decent, but dark) 4 & 5 - close up of 1 & 2 👏
