As we know, I'm not the greatest poster nor content creator mostly due to the lack of time but we are almost halfway through the year and this is typically my "slow season" (it's hot yall 😅). But guys!! I've truly never been busier! I'm soooo beyond honored and grateful to every single family who has trusted me in capturing milestones and their love!!

But can I be real for a sec? I'm exhausted! My family is exhausted. I've always been the "yes" person, and I have rarely turned down the opportunity to make another family happy, afterall it is truly what I love to do! I've been told to raise my prices, but I want to stay as affordable as I can for every family.

Part of a growing business is learning to say no. I'm learning that, but I want you all to know that If I say I can't, it doesn't mean I don't love you or don't want to shoot for you (really I'm dying to) it's simply bc I'm choosing to say yes to and prioritizing my faith, mental health and family. I'm starting to set much needed boundaries and protect my time for my faith, my mental and physical health and my family. It's taken me MANY years to exercise this and going to start exercising it more and more for their sake and for mine. That being said I'm taking July off from photography and im going to do this every year moving forward. (Don't worry! I'm keeping my currently booked shoots, events and weddings! I just won't be booking any NEW shoots for July)

June is fully booked and August is now fully booked. I've been surprised at the amount of families who said I'm willing to wait 3-4 months it literally makes my heart explode with gratitude bc me? Really? 🥹🙏💝 I'm grateful. A gentle reminder, whether it's with me or another photographer, please remember we are people, moms, we are wives or husbands, friends etc. Some of us have full time jobs outside of photography. Be patient, be kind and don't wait last minute to book!🙏🥰
