When you’re photographing a company like Stryker at EMS World in Orlando, finding cool things to photograph isn’t exactly difficult. 😂

This show was packed with equipment designed to make an incredibly tough job a little safer and easier for EMS teams.

One of the things that really caught our attention? A mechanical chest compression device that can perform CPR continuously, without someone having to manually switch every 30 seconds.

And then there was a powered stair chair designed to help EMS teams move patients up and down stairs with significantly less physical effort.

We show up to events to capture the people, the products, the energy, and the moments that make them worth remembering. Sometimes, we also get a front-row look at some seriously impressive technology.

DMCs, let's talk about what makes an event photographer easy to work with.

It's not just good photos. 📸

It's showing up prepared. Knowing the schedule. Finding the important moments without needing to be babysat. We know what you need. Staying out of the way when people are networking. Rolling with the inevitable schedule changes. Communicating when it matters. Delivering on time.

And knowing when to step in... and when to disappear into the background.

Because when you're managing an event, the last thing you need is another vendor to manage.

Good photography is important. Being an easy vendor to work with is part of the job, too.

What does a corporate event photographer actually do all day? 👀

A lot more than chase people around asking them to smile.

We’re watching the room, anticipating what’s about to happen, finding the good light (or making our own), keeping an eye on the speakers, catching genuine networking moments, looking for branding opportunities, and trying very hard not to drink too much coffee. 😂

The goal is to document the event without making people feel like they’re being documented.

Because the best event photos usually happen when people forget the camera is there.
