Dawn Patrol at the Wetlands!! We headed out early today, hoping to catch the Barred Owl family before the world woke up. I found them tucked away in the branches directly overhanging the trail. These 2 fledgling (Swamp Muppets) are nestled right over the wetlands and plenty of predator below waiting for a slip. I know it part of nature, but it’s especially nerve-wracking because Barred Owl fledglings are notoriously clumsy. Hope to make another sunset trip to see them again

I was extremely fortunate to share the trail with this beautiful Sandhill Crane family! There is something incredibly endearing about how Sandhill Crane colts (their offspring name) look like they haven’t quite figured out how their own legs work. They have this “hop” as they try to keep up with their parents' massive strides. Wildlife is truly Amazing!!
It’s great getting out there shooting again.

Looking forward to getting back to FLA for some wildlife adventures. If you look closely at this Gator's Eye you will see my reflection. Sometimes its good to have a 600mm lens between you and a gator. 😱🐊

Great getting out and shooting live music again!! The Cars Tribute Band Panorama. Great band with awesome visual stage set!! Brought me back to high school!
