Fire Scene Photography is proud to announce that Deputy Chief Justin Smith has accepted the position of Chief Of Fire Scene Photography. Chief Justin will be replacing Chief Jonathan who has taken over Orlando Metro Fire Photography. Justin has been with Fire Scene Photography since day 1, and has done incredible work for the agency. We know Justin will continue to grow this agency and continue to bring top notch photography.

Our hearts and prayers are with the Apopka Fire Department and the Family of Firefighter Austin Duran. Firefighter Austin Duran died in the line of duty related to injuries he received on June 30th, 2022.

Everyone at Fire Scene Photography is currently keeping an eye on the tropics as Tropical Storm One comes near Florida. At this time until we know what the storm will bring our Florida Division is closed for the rest of the day. We will bring weather updates for the State Of Florida once they become available to us.

..DANGEROUS FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED THIS AFTERNOON...
..RED FLAG WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 PM EDT THIS EVENING FOR LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY, BREEZY AND GUSTY SOUTHEAST WINDS, HIGH DISPERSION, AND DRY GROUND CONDITIONS ACROSS INTERIOR EAST CENTRAL FLORIDA...

The National Weather Service in Melbourne has issued a Red Flag Warning, which is in effect until 8 PM EDT this evening.

* AFFECTED AREA... Orange... Seminole... Osceola... Okeechobee.

* WIND...Southeast winds 15 to 20 mph with frequent higher gusts.

* HUMIDITY...30 to 35 percent.

* IMPACTS...any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly.

Outdoor burning is not recommended.

A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions are either occurring now....or will shortly. A combination of strong winds...low relative humidity...and warm temperatures can contribute to extreme fire behavior.
