An amazing use for storytelling photography ... raise awareness of the need for roadway safety and the human cost of crashes. My hat is off to this amazing photographer.

When Lives Collide is the starkest possible illustration of the importance of road safety. Adam Hill talks to Paul Wenham-Clarke, professor of photography at the Arts University Bournemouth, about the inspiration for this heart-wrenching collection of images and memories

Move Over for stopped emergency and service vehicles (basically, if you see flashing lights on the side of the road, you are required, in Florida, to move over one lane or slow down) is an important, life-saving message.

Very proud that FDOT chose my photo to illustrate the message.

January is Move Over Awareness Month in Florida. Help protect our emergency & traffic incident responders by slowing down and moving over when you see their service vehicles assisting others on the road.

Day 7 of my trip was troll day. Not internet troll, but mythological trolls. Take this guy for instance. His name is Hvítserkur and he is a petrified troll. Legend has it that this troll wanted to tear down the church bells at a nearby convent, the sound of which he could not stand. Unfortunately for Hvítserkur, he was caught by the first rays of the sun and was turned to stone.

Scientifically, he's a volcanic d**e that has been eroded by the sea. His base has been shored up with concrete to prevent more erosion of his base which would cause him to fall into the sea. Hvítserkur stands about 15 meters (almost 50 feet) tall.
