My nephew, Loewen Park had a bad accident with a firework on the 4th of July. He was rushed to my original home ER and recieved great care there before being flown to ORMC (another ER I've worked in) where he had to have extensive surgery to try to keep as much of his hand as the surgeons could.

He has a long road to recovery, and I'm very sure their goal of $10,000 won't really cover all of their needs - but Loewen and his wife Emily Park are going to need all the help they can get.

If you zoom in reeeaaaaly close on those black dots in the center you'll see some wild 🐃 buffalo! I promise that's what they are. They were very far away.

It might be a silly made-up non-holiday... but I'm going to celebrate it anyway with two of the cutest dogs there are!

Even during the heat in the middle of the day, it was never that terribly hot in northern Colorado or southern Wyoming.
