It looks like wiping away happy tears, calming nerves, making you laugh, and quietly taking care of the little things no one else notices.

Your bridesmaids are doing so much more than standing beside you. They’re loving you through one of the biggest days of your life.

Marriage was never meant to be built on perfect moments. It is built through choosing each other again and again.

“Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.” 1 Corinthians 13:7

If you’re engaged, preparing for marriage, or have been married for decades, remember this today. Real love is not about never facing hard seasons. It is about staying faithful through them. It chooses grace over pride, forgiveness over resentment, and hope over giving up.

A Christ centered marriage is not defined by perfection. It is strengthened by daily choosing to love the way He loves us. 💛

God is so good. 💛 I am just so thankful for all the couples he continues to send my way. 😭 and all the wonderful families I’ve met over the years 😭😭

And I haven’t posted in awhile but I’m still here, just taking a little summer break from insta. Im booking weddings (4 last week! 😍) and yes! I’m booking 2027 weddings! I also have couples inquiring for 2028 weddings! 👀 So exciting!!!

I’m also editing, refreshing my website, updating my pricing guide, writing blogs, updating my wedding resource page for my clients, all the bts stuff it takes to run a photography business. Getting all caught up before the fall season. 🫶

I also picked up reading again - finished my 3rd book in 5 days! Starting another one tomorrow! Give me your fav summer reads in the comments! It’s also helping me lower my screen time 😂

Something I’ve noticed lately that I just HAVE to share…
so many of my brides are talking less about the details and more about the people. They’re excited to see their dad’s reaction. To hug their grandma. To celebrate with lifelong friends. To have everyone they love in one room.

As a wedding photographer, I absolutely love hearing that.

Because while the details help tell the story, it’s the people who make the story worth telling. 💛

And that’s why I always make it a priority to get plenty of photos of your family and friends while I’m your photographer. ✨
