Hello everyone and this here is a long post about my 360 photo booth, and it deals with music.

People always ask me WHY I don't use music on their videos and the short answer is this: It is a copyright infringement. I DO NOT worry about what others do at all, trust me, I do my own thing but if others do it, then that is on them.

Here is where it gets a little tricky though lol, I do upload videos with copyrighted music on my social media. How do I do that?? Its simple, FB, IG, TikTok allows you to use snippets ( small portions of songs ) ; and it's perfectly fine as long as you start out w/ a video and it DOES NOT have music. Crazy huh?

But try and save that video w/ that music on your end and those social media platforms won't allow it. All these platforms are lenient on the copyrighted music thing, but trust me, I belong to a group of 360 photoboother's and they are starting to crack down and not allowing it.

Another missconception is that my 360 records the audio that is being played at the time of the recording. NO that's not the case, the audio is added ( with the app I use ) ; during the processing of the boomerang or the slo-mo video.

In a nutshell: when you share videos on social media YOU can add whatever song to the video. It is perfectly legal todo. Thanks everyone for understanding...your support is greatly appreciated.
