Thank you. From the bottom of my heart.

To everyone who believed in me, stood beside me, knocked doors, made phone calls, put up signs, shared a post, donated, volunteered, encouraged me, or simply took the time to have a conversation with me during this campaign, thank you.

Over the past several months, I have had the privilege of meeting thousands of people across our community. You welcomed me into your homes, shared your hopes and concerns, and reminded me why public service matters so deeply.

I am incredibly proud of what we built together. We ran a campaign that put people first. It was built on community, transparency, and the belief that our neighborhoods, our rural areas, and our future are worth fighting for.

Most of all, I am grateful for the friendships and relationships that came from this journey. No matter where the road leads from here, I will carry those moments and the lessons you shared with me.

“Each has something to offer. But one person stands out: Wes Hodge, who became well-known as one of Central Florida’s most outspoken voter-rights advocates and has experience as a political aide to two of the county commission’s most effective commissioners (Nicole Wilson and Kelly Martinez Semrad). With that background, we expect Hodge to be a steadfast defender of Orange County’s undeveloped regions and a voice for those who often go unheard. That puts him at the head of the pack.”

The Sentinel endorses Wes Hodge, Mike Scott and Victor Torres for seats on the Orange County Commission. In District 7, Patricia Rumph and Aaron Emmanuel Lewis both set themselves apart from a large field.
