Morning walk at Greensprings and I found a very vocal (hungry) juvenile Barred Owl with an adult nearby that was trying to stay cool in the shade.

I was kayaking on the Appomattox River and saw this Barn Swallow buzzing by a group of juveniles. On playback I was able to slow down the action and see that the adult is feeding the juveniles while hovering in the air!
