I’ve got fall minis on my mind but haven’t even shared the goodness that has happened this summer!! I swear fall creeps up on me every year about this time and I suddenly feel the urge to pack in all the missed summer activities with my kids! Making some last minute plans today for the rodeo, ice cream trips, pickleville playhouse and camping (in a cabin, we aren’t crazy).

One of the very best perks of this job is watching families grow and falling in love with my couples kids! I shot Ashley’s wedding in Sacramento and getting to capture this exciting new addition was just what my heart needed. And not just because she brought me a Diet Coke. 😉

I’ve got spring and summer on my mind with lots of flower planning and wedding chatting. This summer wedding was dreamy and full of flowers…my favorite!

There is no Christmas card this year. For the first time in 16 years. There are no neighborhood gifts or elaborate Christmas decorations. The stockings got put up yesterday. My best friend had to do the gingerbread houses with my kids and wrapped most of the presents.

Some days are sad days and some days are angry days. The angry days are almost easier because I’m not debilitated by the sick feeling in my stomach and constant tears that won’t stop coming. I don’t have any answers. I don’t know how to move on from here. The grief is all encompassing. I’m being carried by angels both unseen and earth side. These little humans are my comfort and what literally gets me out of bed every day. Thank you for the love and prayers. Truly. Thank you for hiring me and supporting my small business and family. Thank you for being here even though you probably came for the photography and it’s all somehow become feathers and flowers and grief.

Merry Christmas, my friends. I love you. Crossing my fingers for a beautiful and healing 2025. 🪶🤍🫶🏼

Just pumping out these fall sessions as fast as my lack of sleep (and toddlers) will let me. I’ve been driving all over the state chasing these colors the last couple months and I wouldn’t have it any other way! 💛🍂🧡🍁
