Motherhood isnāt always rainbows and butterflies.
Sometimes itās rain clouds rolling in when you hoped for sunshine.
Sometimes itās 20 minutes of unpredictable weatherā¦.a little rainfall, a little glare, a little wind ā¦.and you choose to show up anyway.
This session wasnāt āperfect.ā The light kept shifting. The sky couldnāt decide what it wanted to do. But honestly? It felt symbolic.
Because motherhood rarely looks the way we imagined it would.
We all carry different hardships.
Different grief.
Different versions of the story we thought weād be living.
And yet⦠here we are.
Holding tight.
Showing up.
Loving deeply in the middle of whatever weather comes.
Thereās something sacred about embracing your babies in the in-between; when itās messy, unpredictable, and real.
The sun came out. The rain passed.
And what remained was connection, warmth, and love that doesnāt depend on perfect conditions.
Thatās motherhood. š¾
