This boy right here
I had to give him very little posing instruction, and when I did, he did it his own way, and it was better than wheat I told him. I told his mom, it's not often you find a boy that is just super natural at posing and with his expressions. He said that he likes photography himself, especially sports photography and I really hope that he takes time to explore that. It's so important, especially these days, that people take time to do things that inspire them and use the creative part of them. I have always told my boys that, and tried to instill that in them. If you are passionate and talented in an artistic way that makes you unique and one of a kind in what you do. And above all, that is an amazing quality to have.
Anyone can go get a 9-5 if they apply themselves, but an art, and your vision.....that's yours and yours alone.

Fun fact:
Did you know when I started doing photography almost 14 years ago that we didn’t do online galleries. All of the sessions were put on discs like CDs lol.
When your session was done, you had to come pick up a CD disc from my front porch in a pick up box. 😂 so silly to think of that now

Childhood doesn't slow down. The little things we wish we could bottle up ... the giggles, the messy hair, the missing teeth, the way they still put their little hand in yours .....become memories before we even realize it.
That's why pictures matter. Not just to remember what they "looked" like, but to remember who they were in this little chapter of life.
It's crazy how a photo can not only be something to "look" at, but to bring back what it "felt" like.
