A beautiful brand is about to make its debut and the story behind it is just as good as what’s inside the jars.

April of Bougie Home, LLC hand-pours every candle from a creamy blend of vegan coconut and apricot wax, then infuses each one with clean, toxin-free fragrances that somehow manage to smell like pure magic. I don’t know how she does it. I just know you need to experience it for yourself.

Creating the full visual identity for her launch was a big undertaking, and one I’m really proud of.

Her Instagram is launching very soon. So, go give her a follow so you don’t miss it. She has a seasonal summer collection dropping with the launch, and once it sells through, it’s gone until next year.

Don’t wait on this one.

This image was created out of pure frustration.

I’d been sick over a week and was done with feeling ick.

I needed to do something creative. NOW.

With one of my small abstract paintings in one hand and my camera in the other, I marched outside determined to create something, anything.

And, I’m glad I did.

There is no rose quite like the Mr. Lincoln. It is legendary for its deep, velvety crimson and intoxicating fragrance.

And, it happens to be one of the very few red roses that I actually like. 😂

Ranunculus are my favorite wild children of the flower world. Their stems do whatever they please, twisting and turning at improbable angles. This bunch of red & orange blooms was no exception, marching very much so to their own beat.

This photograph would feel instantly at home in a kitchen, dining room, or breakfast room, where its fresh, market-gathered quality brings the feeling of flowers just brought in from a garden.
