And you definitely donā€™t have to perform some polished version of yourselves just because itā€™s your wedding day.

Be unapologetically authentic. Wear what makes you feel like yourself. Cry ugly. Laugh too loud. Get a little messy. Take up space. Kiss when you actually want to. Let the wind ruin your hair.

I lost both of my grandparents last month.

Thereā€™s been loss.
Thereā€™s been healing.
Thereā€™s been so much love wrapped up in the chaos of justā€¦ living.

Going through their old photographs during that time did something to me.
Seeing their whole lives held in these small, ordinary, beautiful frames. It reminded me exactly why I do what I do. These images outlast us. They become the way weā€™re remembered, the way weā€™re held onto.

Every smile I capture reminds me what weā€™re all really here for.
Connection, joy, the people who hold us up.
I get to witness the most beautiful parts of peopleā€™s lives for a living, and some days thatā€™s not just a job, itā€™s what keeps me going.

Grateful doesnā€™t even begin to cover it. šŸ¤
