🍊🎶Another piece of Orange history going in the archives! Remember, we don’t collect JUST memorabilia and artifacts from long ago, history is being made every day, like TODAY! Get us your keepsakes from all the Orange happenings so they can be preserved in the and History Center Archives like Owen from did with his fun 2026 Record Day poster! Go see him inside ! 🙌

Thank you to for putting together tonight’s State of Old Towne Forum, and for including our question near and dear to our own nonprofit organization mission on the status of fully reopening the History Center to allow to return to her important work of collecting and maintaining the history of the city of Orange archives and allowing the public walk in access for their own research again.

In a one day only exclusive tour with the Orange Community Historical Society and the Ricci Family, reserve your ticket for this FREE tour of the gorgeous and unique 1927 Italian style Chapman Ave home with original interior murals, tile fountains and bathroom tile work from the McCandless company (contracted for the Watson’s Soda Fountain and The Orange Plaza Fountain) and more!

Enjoy a brief historical presentation on the history of the home and its owners, including it’s most recent stint as the Chapman Funeral Home, then wander through the building and explore the many little details that make this a living piece of history and architectural wonder!

🍊🤩 Thank you EVERYONE who attended our smash success free public history program at the Orange Public Library and History Center with our special Author Talk and Book Launch with Dr. David-James Gonzales Professor and the author of Breaking Down the Walls of Segregation: Mexican American Grassroots Politics and Civil Rights in Orange County, California.

We had an incredible turnout of community members eager to learn more about the subject and local heroes who helped turn a big problem into national attention and bring about real change. 💪
