Meet Tommy, Tommy has lived in Savannah his life whole life. Tommy was raised around addiction the only way out was to enlist in the army right out of high school. When Tommy got back from the army 10 years later he opened several small food stands in Savannah. At the end of the talk I asked him if he’s happy, he smiled and said, “I’m healthy, I have food on the table, and I am at peace with my god, what more can I ask for?”.

Meet Gregory, he was born and raised in the keys of Florida where he learned from street artists how to paint and sculpt. After his high school years he attended scad in 84’ where he faced ridicule from the student body because of his work and was asked to leave. He explained to me at that time in his life he saw no future in his creative career but he fought to get into exhibitions in Atlanta and make a small name for himself. You can find Gregory whenever the weathers nice in Johnson square displaying his work.
