5 things that shape my photography…
1. Integrity… always.
I believe in doing the right thing even when nobody is watching. Those delicious cannolis on the dessert table with only enough for guests? 😂 I’ll happily leave those for your family and friends. Your wedding day isn’t my personal networking event or free dinner — I’m there to serve you well.
2. I photograph people, not content.
One of my brides was shocked when I said yes to photographing her backyard wedding. Some photographers had turned it down because it wasn’t “luxury” enough for their portfolio. That honestly made me sad. Your wedding day is valuable regardless of where it takes place. If I want perfect portfolio content, I can go to a styled shoot. Your wedding isn’t about building my Instagram — it’s about documenting your story.
3. There’s always more to learn.
Whether it’s trying a new technique, learning my cameras better, improving my business, or hearing a different perspective from a client or another photographer — I never want to stop learning. Growth matters to me creatively and personally.
4. Quality over quantity bookings.
I never want to pack my calendar just to say I’m fully booked. Taking on fewer weddings allows me to give more care, attention, and intention to every couple while also protecting my family and home life — something I value deeply.
5. Fun first, photos second.
I can read the room 😂 If you and your partner are miserable during photos, we’re changing directions immediately. Your experience matters more to me than forcing content. The best photos happen when you actually feel comfortable, connected, and present.
At the end of the day, I don’t just want you to love your photos — I want you to love the experience of being photographed, too.
