Love is always in the air with the crazy Cortez
crew! I will never get tired of torturing them! Though these kids have become professionals by this point and I don't have to work nearly as hard as I did when they were all babies 😭. 💍 I recently had the honor of photographing a beautiful surprise proposal at the beach. It's so exciting planning these with the groom and helping make their vision a reality.

For this proposal his family planned a fake family photoshoot at the beach but only them two actually showed up. He was so nervous! But it paid off and she was so surprised and happy!

Another year with the Garcias 🫶🏼 They were the very first family I ever photographed when I started doing family portraits back in 2011 and they are so specialto me! My friend Nereyda has been my guardian angel since she used to fight the bullies off for me back in school, and she is still one of the most wonderful, kind, and real people I know.

I still remember when some girls from my ballet school threw my costume in the trash during our concert week unbeknownst to me. Nereyda, an older, cooler high school girl that I had only seen around because she was so beautiful and had perfect hair, had fished it out, ironed it, and hung it up for me. I never forgot that. Things didn't change too much for me in high school where she continued to stand up for me when mean girls treated me badly. That's the kind of person that she is, and that's the kind of kids she has raised. Kind, brave, smart, strong, real and beautiful. Thank you for your support throughout the years, friend. You all have such a huge place in my heart. 🩷✨️
