In just a few short days I will be headed back to my home away from home. I cannot put into words my excitement and joy. For the 5 weeks I am gone, I will be writing and posting on my blog and personal instagram 🌍✈️ to keep up with my journey and see tons and tons of precious pictures follow .gonzalez

After countless two week that never felt quite long enough, I cannot wait to spend over a month in the beautiful country of Uganda. I will be working as Children's Heritage Foundation's intern; photographing, documenting, and partnering with the local ministries to further their already remarkable growth. I have watched these villages grow from just weeds and dirt to blossoming communities full of opportunity. It blows my mind, I have truly witnessed God's never ending power. I will be headed back across the globe in less than 80 days and have a whole lot to pray over, save up, and prepare for but I am nothing but overjoyed. Your thoughts, your prayers, and your support would mean so very much to me.

hi lovesbugs! i know you all follow this account for my photography but i thought this would be the perfect time to introduce my camera-shy awkward self. so here is a bit about me...

i am 19 years young & southern california is my home. i have been obsessed with photography for seven years now but turned my hobby into a freelance business about two years ago. i love sunsets, french bull dogs, sad movies, & pizza. i dream of one day traveling the world with nothing but my camera. i am an imperfect person loved by a perfect God & i am continually blow away by His mercy and grace. my happy place is 9,346 miles away in a little village in Uganda & there isn't a day that goes by where those little ones don't cross my mind. i am a big over thinker and i believe i was born with a heart that beats to create and share. my goal as a photographer, writer, creative, or whatever I eventually become is to tell a story, freeze a moment in time, or put a smile on someone's face - even if it's just for a split second. ✨📸 okay so enough about me, tell me a bit about you 👇🏼
