They say time flies, but nothing makes that feel more real than watching your kids grow right before your eyes.

Since these photos were taken, my daughter has already lost her two front teeth and looks completely different— in just a matter of days.

Even though I haven’t been active here on social media, I’ve still been right where I love to be—behind the camera, capturing families and their stories.

Motherhood is both the hardest job and the truest gift—a constant reminder to slow down, soak in the simple joys, and hold tight to the seasons that pass too quickly.

That’s why I’ll always be passionate about capturing moments, because they slip by in the blink of an eye and there’s always something special to document in each phase.

✨Happy Friday✨I’ve missed you all!!! Last year I gave up Instagram so I could stay more present instead of spending so much time scrolling every week. Almost all of 2023 I spent off of social media and it was refreshing (if you’ve taken a break you know) This year I’m focused on balance!! My hope is to share at least one photo, once a week, without getting caught up scrolling!! I may secretly hate Instagram, but I LOVE YOU ALL WHO SUPPORT ME AND MY BUSINESS.

We found this patch of purple lupines so of course had to take my girl for a quick photo sesh 💜 thinking about offering a round of spring personality portraits here.. short and sweet but these pretties are just begging to be photographed!

“At the end of the day mothers and wives are begging someone to notice that the floor was mopped, the form was filled out, the weird crevice between the sink and the wall was vacuumed, the favorite snacks were bought, the appointment was made, the day was planned and everyone had everything they didn’t know they needed. We are asking for our work to be acknowledged, because if it isn't, its like what we spend our lives doing doesn’t matter. Caring for the people we love brings so much joy, but the weight of all these small things is unbearable when unnoticed.”

Being a mama is a thankless job, but I promise I see you and all the hats you wear. I know that you’d rather do 100 things for them than 1 for yourself. I also know that for those who call you mom, you are the most important person on the planet. One day they will give anything to have photos displaying your love. Ask me how I know! This is why I created the motherhood experience- not your average photo shoot, but a special opportunity to treat yourself like a queen and celebrate all that you do and all that you are. BUMP DAY 🤍 aka Hump day!

Reminder for pregnant mamas: don’t wait until you hit 30 weeks to book your maternity photos!! Babies come early and unexpected things can happen toward the end of your pregnancy. Make sure to document this precious time by scheduling your session early between 20-25 weeks, to take place around the 30-33 week mark.

One thing that breaks my heart as a photographer is taking all these beautiful photos and then never knowing what becomes of them. Occasionally I’ll be shown a framed desktop photo or a canvas hung on the wall, but I want more for my photos and for my clients. I want each and every one of you to have a souvenir from our experience that accurately represents this time in your life. I know I know, I love digitals too, but truth is they don’t get enough visibility. If you could have a photo product included with your last shoot what would it be: an album, wall art, or a keepsake box?

Happy Friday!! Make sure to celebrate and do something fun today!! Were off to enjoy the outdoors before all the rain tomorrow 🤍🤍 on another note: I finally ordered 3 beautiful high end maternity gowns (can be used for non maternity as well) that will be here early February and I can’t wait to see all my maternity mamas in them💃🏼
