Location, location, location! Are you drawn to beaches? Parks? Or urban settings? When this family contacted me, they had a vision! It is SUCH a different experience photographing family’s with young teens vs families with young toddlers! So often, I can’t help but start to imagine what my life will be like when my family resembles my subject’s. I start to think about how the previous years’ portraits must have looked, and I try to imagine what their children looked like when they were young like mine. And then, I remember why I choose to capture these family portraits for others - it’s the closest we will ever get to freezing time.

🎓Hats off to all the 2021 graduates! 🎓 For many, it was just as difficult to navigate as 2020, but they did it!! As seniors all over pick up their cap and gowns, some celebrations are starting to resemble prepandemic times, while others are still a shadow of what they were. Regardless of how your family plans to celebrate this milestone, make sure you invest in portraits of your senior that capture their achievement and excitement!!
