Good morning followers. Eleven years ago I bought my first DSLR camera. It was a Canon t5. I'm actually still using it. It has been a workhorse for me. I also now have a Canon t6. Neither are high end cameras, but they are both good cameras. I never dreamed eleven years ago that my photography journey would take me to where I am today. It was just going to be a hobby. Eleven years later, and I am now an LLC, and I have photographed a Blues Brothers concert, a Bellamy Brothers concert, and worked with Magic Johnson's family (Magic was not there), but it was still very cool to meet members of his family. My Michigan State Capitol photos are now in the archive department at the Michigan State Capitol Building, and I have gotten to meet some very important people at the Capitol because of photography. I have taken headshots for a very important Michigan business in Lansing, and I have done many weddings, engagement shoots, senior portraits, family portraits, modeling shoots, sports photography, and several years ago, I got to go to Miami and shoot the Semi-Pro Football National Championship Game ( thank you Dominique Nutjackson Jackson and Lansing Crusaders, for that opportunity). I have gotten to travel all over the Midwest taking photos in some really cool places. I am currently focusing heavily on music photography. I have shot several music festivals and a lot of local and regional bands and solo artists. I was asked to be the lead photographer for the Porcupine Mountains Music Festival, which is a huge music festival and has had several internationally known artists perform there in the past. My photography journey has taken me further than I ever thought possible, but I feel like I'm just getting started. My goal is to expand to the entire Midwest and the rest of the country as well. I'm trying to build my photography business to be one where I travel anywhere and everywhere someone may need my services as a photographer. I want to thank everyone who has helped me and supported me along the way, whether you have hired me to do a photography job for you or in any other way. A special thank you goes out to my amazing wife Tisha DeFoy, for your never-ending support in so many ways and for believing in me when I was struggling to believe in myself; and to one of my best friends Alfred Laurence of Beige Planet Photography, who has taught me a lot of things about photography and who I have done a lot of photography trips and events with. I wouldn't be where I am today without either one of you. In closing, I want to thank you all for following my page and supporting me in various ways. I couldn't do this without you.
